After many years enjoying pasta and pizzas, Pam, Kevin's mother (and Head Chef at Salvos of Headingley in the 90s) has been diagnosed as Coeliac. She has had to make radical changes to her diet but is still a regular customer at Del Verde!
We have examined each of the dishes on our menu and wherever possible we are offering gluten free alternatives.
Kevin has tried to make Gluten Free pizzas and whilst its easy to make GF pizza dough we only have one pizza oven and one pizza preparation area, making it impossible to avoid cross contamination - better safe than sorry.
All our staff are aware of the importance of avoiding cross contamination and we will be pleased to answer any of your questions regarding food preparation.
